Lance Line, M.D.
Team Orthopaedic Physician
Dr. Lance Line has also served as one of the team orthopaedic surgeons for the Golden Eagles’ sports medicine department since 1995, providing a subspecialty interest in shoulder and elbow conditions.
He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1983 and subsequently completed his residency at University Medical Center in Jackson in 1994. Following his residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy in Richmond, Va., which included an internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He is Board Certified and a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Apart from his work at Southern Bone and Joint, Line serves as the Medical Director for the Southern Surgery Center and the President-Elect of the Wesley Medical Center Medical Staff. He has been published in numerous scholarly journals and currently is conducting research on ACL reconstructions.
In addition, he is actively involved with United Way, where he serves as the co-chairman of fundraising.
Line and his wife, Marcia, have two children, Haley and Hayes.
